Thank you, thank you, thank you! I've been looking for this recipe for my husband's 50th birthday. He and I are both from Detroit (but now live in Jacksonville, FL -- no snow!)
Was recently in Detroit area for first time in over 20 years...boy, has it changed (and not all for the better.)

For all of you missing the Caramel Cake I have good news. I contacted Sanders yesterday and they sent me back an e-mail stating that they brought back the cake two weeks ago. You can purchase it at Morleys in Clinton Township or the Sanders store in Livonia. My husband is from Memphis Tennessee and has never had the cake. Is he in for a treat. I hope its like the original.

I'd love to have the recipe if it is available. We lived in the Detroit area in the 60's and my mother always purchased Sanders Caramel Cake for my sister's birthday. We still talk about it and I would be so happy to be able to make one for her.

Oh my goodness. I hope you have it! My whole family (5 of us in mine alone and 30 all together) L O V E this recipe. It's all our favorites. When it was anyone's B.day we all picked that one. We are now moving to Ga. I thought I'd never get it again. Please may I also have the recipe??? Thank you so much111

I grew up on Sanders cakes. It was the ONLY cake we would ever eat whenever there was an occasion or holiday. Especially the special order birthday cakes for every birthday for our family of 8 ! I would really LOVE to get your recipe. Please send it ASAP ... THANK YOU

We love bumpy cakes and have never had a caramel cake. Is there someone who has the recipe? We live in AZ now and miss Sander's immensely.
