Who is Your Michigan Connection?
Your Michigan Connection is located in downtown Northville, Michigan. Though gift baskets are our speciality, we also carry a large selection of Michigan (and other!) items.

Ordering from Your Michigan Connection
It’s easy! We offer convenient on-line ordering, as well as phone, fax, and mail. Your Michigan Connection accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. We also accept personal check for those orders sent via US mail.

Do you give discounts for large orders?
We do! For orders of 10 gift baskets or more, you’ll receive a 5% discount off the order total (not inclusive of shipping).

Your Michigan Connection also offers a corporate account program for those companies interested in participating. We encourage you to contact us to discuss this option.

Many of your baskets feature “fresh fruit in season.” What’s in them?
Fresh fruit is a major attraction of the baskets offered by Your Michigan Connection. Unfortunately, fruit is a somewhat fickle item…availability is subject to time of year, weather, and a number of other factors beyond our control.

Fruit selection will be made by us based on the type of basket ordered and produce available most suited to that type of basket. If you would like to request a specific type of fruit, please contact us and we will discuss your needs.

Please note that if there will be a delay in shipment due to produce availability, Your Michigan Connection will contact you.

Can I customize a basket?
We want you to! Your Michigan Connection specializes in making baskets for any occasion. Holidays, birthdays, parties, special events…you name it, and we’ll suggest a basket theme.

Can I send a basket as a gift?
What better way to say you care than a gift basket from Your Michigan Connection? Any of our baskets can be sent to the recipient of your choice. Simply complete the “ship to” portion of the online order form, and tell us about any special gift or delivery options. If you’d like, we’ll even include a personalized gift card!

How about Gift Certificates?
Your Michigan Connection offers Gift Certificates in multiples of $5, $10, and $25. Unfortunately, these cannot be obtained (or used) through our online ordering system at this time. If you are interested in purchasing a Gift Certificate, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help.

Gift Certificates must be redeemed in merchandise at the store. The purchase amount must equal at least 90% of the value of the certificate. Cash refunds cannot be given in excess of this amount.

Is this online ordering thing safe?
Yes. Our web-ordering system uses the latest in encryption technology to protect your personal and financial information. Your online order form cannot be read by anyone except us. In addition, Your Michigan Connection does not share this information or use any third-party verification sources.

Of course, if you’d still rather order by phone, fax, or mail, we’ll be happy to do that too!

What happens to my E-mail address?
Your E-mail address will be kept strictly confidential. Your Michigan Connection does not sell, lease, trade, share or otherwise divulge mail addresses to outside parties.

While you may receive follow-up mailings and occasional promotional offers, we’ll be happy to remove your name from the list at any time.

Do I have to pay sales tax?
If you are a resident of Michigan, you will be charged a state sales tax of 6% on your order.

Please note that the application of sales tax depends on the location of the purchaser, not the ultimate destination of the order. If you live in Michigan but are sending a basket as a gift to California, for example, you will still be required to pay Michigan state sales tax.

Our shipping policy.
Baskets will be shipped via UPS by the method of your choice (standard ground or next day). Generally, shipping costs are $11.95 per basket sent by ground outside Michigan, with delivery in 2–5 business days. Shipping costs for individual Sanders products are based on weight. Shipping costs are slightly lower within Michigan.

Please note the following conditions on shipping:

  • Orders received after 2:00 p.m. EST will be shipped the next business day.
  • Orders received on Thursday or Friday for ground shipment may be delayed until the following Monday, depending on the perishability of included items. Your Michigan Connection will contact you if this is the case.
  • Some restrictions apply on shipments outside the United States and Canada.
  • Items including fruit or chocolate must be sent next day in warm weather.

What if I’m not happy?
We hope that won’t happen, but if it does…Your Michigan Connection offers a full money back guarantee. If either you or the recipient isn’t satisfied with the quality of your basket, simply contact us for a full refund of your purchase price. No questions asked!
